1989 Honda Race Car :History, firehawk, Louis Rivera, T.C.Klein, Never licensed for the street, It was a factory sponsored race car with a production no of 00004, I purchased the car from Louis Rivera and raced in NASA and SCCA for 7 years in ITA as well as H4. Equipment, Include new D16a6 engine from Honda with three races on it, also Two spare short blocks and one spare head, these need work and assembly. Aluminum Radiator, Oil cooler, oil and temp gauges. tachometer with rev light, Momo Steering wheel, rear stabilizer, front shock tower support, 800 lb springs, Koni shocks, fronts have been revalved and are adjustable, Aluminum flywheel and hd pressure plate and competition clutch, includes, new Hawk blue pads and rotors (to be installed by purchaser), spare fender, two short blocks and spare head. two spindles, spare headers. All the recent motor work, and trans. rebuild was done by Mark Connolly from Pittsburg, the final drive gear was added then and the new Honda block installed. Head prep was done by Mark Connolly.The roll cage was by Street n Track . It is fully welded via floor plates and integrated with the Body and a crossover bar connects the rear shock mounts for added stiffness. The Nascar style door bars are low , to accomodate a large driver. The seat is a large Kirkey and is mounted on floor stays and integrated with the body, It has an adjustable back support approved by SCCA.The logbook is included and a transponder is already installed. The car has been lightened by removing firewall padding and bumper plugs and other non essentials and curb weight w/o driver is around 1825 lbs. All you need to race is the brakes installed and the proper tires added, and other normal prep items. It was last driven in 2005. Has the new mainshaft with the lower final drive gear, I think is 4.92, it scoots out of the corners and also has the Quaife limited slip drive.I will include the ZDyne computer I used for the purchaser utilizing Buy It Now.And I have tires, wheels and a Paramore head, With the Head and the computer The dyno results were 132 at the rear wheels.will deal on package.
